Jason Cohn
Dr. Jason Cohn is a Long Island native and otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon with a subspecialty in facial plastic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cohn has been awarded America’s Top Plastic Surgeon and Best Otolaryngologist in NY and PA. Dr. Cohn is an active member of the Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) for which he serves on the Young Physicians committee.
Dr. Cohn specializes in all areas of his field, both medical and surgical, for adults and children. Dr. Cohn managed complex pediatric ENT conditions including chronic ear disease, sleep apnea, congenital neck masses, sinonasal disease and complex airway management including tracheostomy at St. Christopher’s Hospital for children. Dr. Cohn’s treatment philosophy focuses on providing comprehensive, evidenced-based care with full compassion and integrity. Dr. Cohn strives to make others feel better physically and mentally with a natural, unoperated result.
Dr. Cohn’s personal interests include rhinoplasty (nose jobs), rhytidectomy (face and neck lifts), blepharoplasty (eyelid lifts), browlift (forehead lifts), cosmetic injections (Botox and fillers), skin cancer removal and reconstruction amongst many other skills. During his facial plastics fellowship, Dr. Cohn trained under world-renowned surgeon Dr. Fred Stucker at LSU and the VA Medical Center. Dr. Cohn’s grandfather served in the Navy during WWII, which made treating veterans that much more special. Dr. Cohn is also very well-versed in all aspects of ENT with an emphasis of nasal and sinus diseases, thyroid and salivary gland diseases, voice and swallowing dysfunctions and head and neck cancers. During his residency in Philadelphia, Dr. Cohn learned to provide high quality voice and swallowing care under the direct of world renowned celebrity laryngologist Dr. Robert Sataloff at Drexel/Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Cohn treated complex maxillofacial traumas and advanced head and neck cancers at Einstein Medical Center.
Dr. Cohn has published over 30 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious medical journals and has written over 20 high-impact textbook chapters. Dr. Cohn serves as a reviewer on the editorial board of several journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (the highest ranking international plastic surgery journal), Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, ENT Journal, Annals of ORL and many more. Dr. Cohn was former academic faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at LSU and the VA Medical Center. He is currently adjunct faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine.
